One of the features in cPanel that it's very useful is the ability to backup and restore accounts with just a few clicks or ...using SSH with simple commands.
We already show you how to backup your full server using cPanel Backup feature, here we are going to show you how to backup a single account and restore it.
To backup a single cPanel account
Login on your server as root via SSH and issue the following command
By default, the backup file (cpmove-user.tar.gz) will be created in the /home directory.
Keep in mind ...you need to provide the user name exactly as it's on your server.
